As with all our wine gifts, we are always looking to improve our range. This is why, we are happy to let you know that we have just added two brand new types of Barolo
to choose from. This includes the Dardano 2007 Barolo and the Barolo Tenimenti Ca'Bianca 2007.
Both of the fine wines are a 2007 vintage and are made 100% of the Nebbiolo grapes and come from the Piedmont region in Italy. Barolo
is a fine wine that is perfect for keeping up to 12 years plus, depending upon the Barolo you buy. All of our Barolo wines are ideal for keeping at least up to 12 years, because the flavours ripen with age.
Barolo Tenimenti Ca’Bianca is a fine red wine that uses 100% Nebbiolo grapes of the Lampia and Michet varieties. It is made using a red wine method, with a long maceration of the skins. Nearly all of the is matured for about two years in oak casks, with part being aged in medium-toasted French barriques, there follows a period of ageing in the bottle for over one year. The wine is a very bright, garnet colour; elegant with an ethereal bouquet of vanilla, cloves, dried wild rose petals and clean, woodland undergrowth. It has a dry, full and firm, but velvety flavour with a fine, very lingering aftertaste of liquorice and oak. Serve this Barolo 2007 with roasted red meats, braised meats, game and mature cheeses for fantastic flavours.
The Barolo Dardano 2007 is a high quality fine Italian wine that is garnet red in colour with characteristic orange shades of Barolo becoming more evident as the wine ages. This wine is one for keeping and can be best enjoyed between 2011 and 2019. Dardano 2007 Barolo tasting notes: the wine has aromas of violets, roses and dark fruits on the palate.
Both of these Barolo
wines are available to buy online in single 75cl bottles, as well as in a case of 6 bottles. Free UK delivery when you buy online.
