Last month we were shortlisted for the Lincolnshire Free Press Awards 2011 in the category of Customer Care. Lots of companies applied and we were lucky enough to get down to the final three. We felt very privileged to be shortlisted for this category, as an online business we have little physical interaction with our customers, often we never speak to our customers. As an online retailer our customer carry out their transactions online with little need to get in contact with us. They place their order online, receive their confirmation emails and then they just wait for their purchase. Our systems are automated to make sure that our customers are kept in the loop, so that they know what is happening with their order at all times. Although we try and offer as personal a service as possible, it would difficult to assign an account manager to every customer! There just would not be enough hours in the day. That means that some of our system has to be automated.
However we are available from 9 to 5pm (Monday to Friday), and we're always eager to help however we can. So if you ever need to contact us, then please do! Don't hesitate to get in touch.

The awards ceremony was held in Spalding, Lincolnshire and we were up against some really strong candidates. The ceremony started with a wonderful three course meal followed by the awards ceremony. As we waited with baited breath for the results of our category, it was great to see all the other businesses who had been nominated - such an array of businesses who were striving to be as successful as possible in the current economic climate. It was a real honour to be surrounded by such hardworking people.
Although we were Runner Up in the category of Customer Care, we are very proud of our achievement and will continue to strive to offer our customers a personal service to ensure that they have the best user experience on our website. Here are few photographs from the awards ceremony.
