Are you still looking for the perfect Valentine's gift for a boyfriend? Here are a few tips on creating some more personalised and thoughtful Valentine's gifts for the special boy or man in your life that will show just how much you care about him without getting too swept away by the usual Valentine's Day mania!
Tip Number 1: Just Ask Him!
: If you still havenít managed to find any Valentines Gifts For Him
a week before Valentine's Day, then speak to your boyfriend and ask him if there is anything special in his mind that you could get for him he'd appreciate. Don't ask too many questions, just a few innocent and discreet ones will do the trick and hopefully give you enough ideas whether or not he has an interest in divulging any gift ideas.
Tip Number 2: Decide if heís feeling romantic
: Would your man really appreciate a romantic approach this year, the sort that involves booking a lovely restaurant for a delicious three-course meal or sprinkling rose petals and lighting candles all around the house to give it a romantic atmosphere? Or would he be much more comfortable spending a night out on the town with you and some beers, with perhaps some pub food along the way as the two of you enjoy a pub crawl? You know him best, so try and make use of this knowledge to plan a special night together that you will both appreciate.
Tip Number 3: Try doing something as well as giving something
: Has he asked you to do something or help him with something over the past few months that you still havenít got around to? For example, if heís going a bit grey and heís a little self conscious, you could maybe buy him some hair dye and prepare a salon from home for the evening and then try dying it for him. This idea is probably only best done if you feel confident enough to get it right! Else, you may end up in an argument and thatís not really the way to go on Valentineís Day! Another special idea though, if you arenít feeling hugely confident about the hair dye is other healthy treats, such as a nice massage, or doing some yoga as a lesson for example, basically anything you have said you'd get around to helping him do or learn some day that you havenít as yet.
Tip Number 4: Go homemade too
: Celebrating Valentineís Day with your boyfriend is not just about buying stuff. Valentine's is really about showing that you care about him and each other. Make your boyfriend a card that says how much you love him., if heís not a complete manís man then perhaps write him a poem or some sweet prose. Simply, anything to say how much you care about him and the reasons behind that. Many people just love being told the exact reasons why they matter so much and so this can be one of the best Valentines gifts of all.
Tip Number 5: Bake something for him
: They say the way to a manís heart is through his stomach. Why not bake some heart-shaped biscuits with hundreds and thousands and those three special words, "I love you" printed on them in icing. Arrange your homemade biscuits in a box and present them to him with a gift card.
Tip Number 6: Give a photo gift of the two of you
: Choose a photo of the two of you and decorate a frame for it. You could write a little something to go with it, including why this photo means a lot to you. This is a very personalised and thoughtful gift. How about making a wallet-sized photo gift too and give him a new wallet as one of his Valentineís Day gifts to go with it?
We know not every boyfriend is the same, so these tips will hopefully be helpful in deciding how you two can spend the day together and what romantic things can be done to make this Valentineís Day memorable. If you are still stuck on what Valentines Gifts for Him
you could get him, worry not help is at hand!Date posted: 22/01/2010
